Research conversations with talent leaders
Pontiq is interviewing heads of talent, people and HR about where skills-based hiring works, where it stalls, and what gets in the way. A 25-minute conversation, arranged around your calendar.
Before we build more, we want to understand how hiring actually runs inside organisations that are trying to move to skills-based decisions, and what stops them.
This is a learning conversation, not a sales call. If you have a role you want help with now, the commercial route is a discovery engagement.
What we talk about
- Which roles in your industry skills-based hiring might be best suited to, and which it is not.
- The tools and methods you use today to screen and shortlist.
- What is working well, and where the pain points are.
- If time permits, a short look at the Pontiq method and your critique of it.
What it involves
- 25 minutes on a video call, at a time that suits you. We work around your calendar and your time zone.
- No preparation. We ask about your experience, not for data or documents.
- No pitch unless you ask for one. The purpose is to learn.
What you get
- A summary of what we hear across the conversations, anonymised, sent to everyone who takes part.
- Early access to the employer shortlisting workflow as it is developed, with your feedback shaping it.
Who we are speaking with
Heads of talent acquisition, heads of people, chief people officers and HR directors. In Australia we are focusing on organisations in construction, healthcare, logistics, hospitality and software. We are also speaking with talent leaders at larger organisations in New Zealand, the UK, Singapore and India.
Tell us who you are and we will propose three times.
